It was a dream that Pat McGee has had since he was 10 years old — build a house, by himself. In 1999, Pat McGee’s dream project began with the real estate purchase of land in Fort Bragg, CA, a 3-acre lot in the Inglenook town residence 7 miles north of Fort Bragg city center. With twists and turns and difficult permit processes, it is 15 years later and the new McGee home construction is near completion. The miraculous 5-bedroom 2-bathroom residence complete with redwood deck, redwood garden, and garage workshop now sits permanently overlooking the Pacific Ocean, MacKerricher State Park, surrounded by thriving Northern California forest.
